 Teacher Created Spirit Day 2018

In October North Haledon Public Schools recognized the Week of Respect. It was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about, reflect on and share their experiences of respect and kindness towards others, themselves and all living things.
During the week, all students signed a Pledge or Respect vowing to show kindness in their words and actions. Also, since respect is a quality best displayed through our conduct, each class hosted a "Show-and-Tell" which highlighted all students' "actions of respect".
These events were a great success and it was truly a wonderful job done by all.
Take a look at our pledges!"

“Birthday Lunch Celebrations”
Since birthdays are such a special time in a child’s life, it is important
that each child gets to have a moment to celebrate. As such, each
month we will have a “Birthday Lunch Celebration” for all of the

students who had a birthday that month. Students will enjoy

feeling special by having lunch with Mrs. Tait and the other students

in their grade level who have a birthday that month.

Caution Sign  Safety MattersCaution Sign

We appreciate parents continued assistance as you demonstrate safety when driving your vehicles on school property and in our neighboring streets.

Please keep in mind that students, parents, and staff utilize the parking lot as pedestrians, so it's important to reduce the speed of your vehicle while on the campus of Memorial School.  Students, parents, and staff safety must be everyone's priority. The traffic flows extremely well in the morning and afternoon when parents utilize the drop-off and pick-up lane.  Please refrain from getting out of your vehicles, parking in the front of the building when dropping off or picking up your children. If you must park, please do so in a parking spot. Unattended cars that are parked in the drop-off and pick-up lane hinder the traffic flow.

Thank you for assisting us with keeping Memorial School safe for all who attend, work, and visit.
